Transformation through Art - A Personal Mythic Journey
by Patricia Waters
In this video Patricia Waters, MA, ATR, examines the inner journey of her life, viewing 50 years of her artwork as a process of self-revelation and transformation.
Drawing connections between her personal expression and mythological themes, the piece is divided into seven archetypal stages of her journey:
  1. Remembering,
  2. Confronting the Monster
  3. Descent to the Underworld
  4. Unmasking
  5. Nurturing the Inner Child
  6. Empowering the Feminine
  7. Healing the Masculine
Patricia also addresses consciousness of oneness with the earth, the coming together of the masculine and feminine in a respectful, caring and equal partnership, and the interconnection of all beings. Her work invites others to use art for self-discovery and healing.
