Kay Redfield Jamison, PhD is a clinical psychologist and author who is a leading expert on Bipolar Disorder. Her book Manic-Depressive Illness is the classic textbook on bipolar disorder. Her national bestselling memoir, An Unquiet Mind, details her experience living with severe mania and depression. She is a professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and has researched widely on medication adherence and suicide.
